Four Course Guitars

Four-course guitars, also known as Renaissance guitars, were popular in Europe during the Renaissance period. Four-course guitars, as opposed to modern six-string guitars, have four pairs of strings or three pairs and a single that are tuned to different notes. These guitars are fascinating instruments with a distinct sound that are still played by musicians today who value their historical significance.
